We know that airport accommodations aren’t always the most exciting option when on vacation. Every person that went into the fitness center was a business traveler and said they would never stay at this location again.Want to rest up before catching your next flight? These convenient Salt Lake City hotels offer more than a decent resting spot between travels. I will never stay at this location in the future. Holiday Inn Express really needs to up their game. The hotel has no nice amenities, just very basic with limited selection. The temperature was also set at 77 in the fitness center which is way to hot.
3 people came in the fitness center and all said the same thing, bad. Both treadmills were broken and the gym had a bike and an elliptical with a few weights. The second day I went to the worst fitness center that I have ever been in at a hotel. I would have much rather have had a free breakfast. My over priced breakfast came and was just average. The hotel was full and there was only 1 person eating in the restaurant. I went down to the restaurant and ordered breakfast. The next morning no one came to my door and I looked 15 minutes later and no one got the door hanger for my breakfast order. I got to my room and they had a door hanger so that breakfast would be delivered. The first thing that I noticed is that you have to pay for breakfast. Nearby attractions include Miller Motorsports Park, Clark Planetarium, Utah Olympic Park, and Hogle Zoo. Suites feature sleeper sofas, microwave ovens, and refrigerators. Rooms feature flat screen televisions and either one king bed or two queens. The onsite guest laundry facilities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The complimentary fitness center is open daily from midnight to 11 p.m., and includes treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights, and stationary bikes. The indoor heated swimming pool is open daily from 6 a.m. Amenities include a 24-hour business center, an indoor heated swimming pool, a complimentary fitness center, onsite guest laundry facilities, complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel, complimentary coffee in the lobby, and an onsite convenience store. Located within minutes of Salt Lake City International Airport, downtown, and four world-renowned ski resorts is the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City-Airport West.
